With an impressive autonomy of 8 hours, the BathyDrone SUMO is the ideal partner for scientific research missions in bodies of water and calm rivers.
The BathyDrone SUMO allows for the programming of automatic missions and provides real-time data to monitor its acquisitions and movements. It can be manually controlled via a remote control, offering a range of up to 1 km. Its position and orientation are displayed on a map background with all navigation parameters.

The BathyDrone SUMO can integrate a single-beam, single-frequency sonar, ideal for its cost-effectiveness in providing reliable bathymetric data from 30 cm depth. A dual-frequency single-beam sonar will be used to estimate the thickness of soft sediments.
The sensors of the BathyDrone SUMO are directly interfaced with the navigation controller and your ground computer, allowing the reception and interaction of acquired data with bathymetric software such as Hypack or Hydromagic.
Additionally, it can be equipped with an automatic winch to lower various measuring instruments, such as a velocimeter, and optionally features a sample collection system with a refrigerated chamber.
